Seeds of a holistic lifestyle had been planted all throughout Maren’s life, but the journey really begins in 2017 while attending her first cacao ceremony and discovering the transformative power of sound healing. Her journey of self development and nervous system regulation continued as she effectively mitigated severe PTSD symptoms in her body with the help of somatic practices, subliminal messages, sound healing, and more. This journey towards a more embodied and joyful life has lead her to a career in the healing arts.

Maren began professionally in hospitality while attending MiraCosta College studying liberal arts and child development. She also earned her NAMC Montessori Teaching certificate and worked as a Montessori preschool teacher during the beginning of the 2020 pandemic. After earning 2 AAs in 2020, she realized it didn’t make sense to study for a BA if she was going to go to massage school anyways, so she began attending Healing Hands School of Holistic Health in Escondido, CA. She became a LMT (licensed massage therapist) in December 2021 and graduated from the 1000 hour HHP (holistic health practitioner) program in May 2022. In February 2023 she finished her 60 hour Integrative Somatic Practitioner training through The Embody Lab. She is currently looking to go back to school to become an SEP (somatic experiencing practitioner) in 2026.

When away from Mandala Method Healing, Maren can be found lost in the pages of a good book, exploring new corners of the world, or immersed in nature. Quality time with her husband and their charming girls, Isla the snake and Rika the kitty, fills her heart with joy alongside cherished moments shared with loved ones. Embracing a sustainable lifestyle is not just a choice but a deep-rooted commitment, as she’s passionate about living a life that honors Mother Earth and people.
